2. How to Play Each slide has a different demand.  Act it out – Means that in groups you have to act out a scene.  Stimulus discussion – Best and most creative team answer win.  Stimulus writing –The best written response, wins. The group with the most number of points at the end of term, wins.

4. Stimulus Discussion What happened in this house? 5 Mins – 30 pts.

5. Act it Out – 30 Points In your pairs/team, create a freeze frame that conveys mystery. If the audience can guess what your freeze frame portrays, then your team wins 30 points.

6. Act it Out – 5 mins 30 Points Invent a creative definition for these words: 1. Remonstrance 2. Expostulation 3. Brouhaha If you can convince others that your definition is correct, you get the points (10 for each).

7. Stimulus Writing – 7 minutes 40 Points What brought you to this hole? What happens after you fall through the hole? Each person writes one part of the story.

8. Stimulus Writing 40 points Create a poem, rap or song that is going to leave the reader wondering who you are. You can be anyone you want from a cartoon character to a movie star. You have to chose someone who most students would know of.

9. Act it Out 40 Points per team In Pairs or small groups, act, mime or present a famous scene from a movie or story. If the audience is able to guess your movie, then you score the points. At least one character has to be blind-folded.

10. Stimulus Writing – 5 mins – 40 Points  In your group write 5 captivating news headlines that convey a sense of mystery.  1 st Group with 5 good headlines win 30 points.

11. Act it Out Find one object in the classroom. Create or perform a dramatic play/script about how this object was used as a murder weapon. Be as creative and as funny as you want to be. 40 Points

12. Act it Out – 8 mins – 50 pts You have to change the words of a song or nursery rhyme, but keep the tune. Read it (rhythmically), sing it or perform it to the class to see if they can guess what the tune is.

13. Stimulus Writing 50 Points Who is the man in the black Suit and why is he standing There? Your group, you have 8 minutes to write a short Story as a team. You cannot Use the word murder, kill, Stab or shot in your story.

14. Stimulus Response – 5 mins What happened after you walked into this forest? 50 Points
