3 Konrad Lorenz (1903-1989) Imprinting ● Studied goslings o waddled after what moved o Lorenz and a green box were o substituted  goslings came to Lorenz when frightened  Lorenz acted as mother ● Important: survival ● Strong 13-16 hours (goslings)

13 Opinions A- I personally feel that Imprinting is very important, not just at birth, but throughout life. W- While I do understand why the experiments with the surrogate mothers are important, it seems to me that the monkeys were just abused.
