2 A stranger came to Earth. He was dressed with black and grey. He had a big bag so he could take all the sounds away. He took away the croaking of the frog. The sound of toast popping out of the toaster, the phone ringing. The sounds of chattering children singing. The sound of the donkey going ee-oyre. Adam A stranger came. He was wearing black and grey. He had a big full sack with sounds in it. He took the tapping of shoes on the hard ground, the brmm of a lawnmower, the croaking of frogs on a lily pad. The rustling of wind in the trees, the chatter and scream of children in the playground. The tick-tock of a clock, the crash of an earthquake when the furniture breaks, the piano in the music room, a baby waking up from a nice nap. The fantail singing a song, the cicada chirping, the doves singing a song, a horse clip, clop, clip, clop. Some computers working. Olivia A stranger came. 5 A stranger came into town. He was wearing black and grey. He had a bag and he took the sounds away. He took away the sound of birds chirping in the trees. “Ha, ha, ha” said the stranger. Away he went, then he took the sound of air coming out of a popped tyre and the sound of furniture crashing in the earthquake. Zoe A stranger came to take noise. No one knows where he took the noise. He took the knock of the doors, and the snap of pieces of blu-tak. The talking of children, chatty children. The bark of dogs, the quack of ducks, the stamping of shoes, the tiny ring of a bell. The songs on the radio and the crunch of fruit. Rosara The stranger took the sound of the dragon blowing water out of his mouth in the pool and the growling of bears in the caves. Brock

The sound of ta T.V. in the lounge, the crying of a baby and the chirping of cicadas and the vroom of a lawnmower. Then he took away the sound of lions and tigers.
