2  Grapes grow in clusters of 6 to 300, and can be crimson, black, dark blue, yellow, green and pink  Grapes are about 80 percent water, making them a delectable low-calorie snack or dessert  Spanish explorers introduced the fruit to America approximately 300 years ago

3  Grapes come in more than 50 varieties in black, blue, blue-black, golden, red, green, purple, and white colors with a juicy pulp inside. The two main types of grapes are the American and European  The anti-oxidants (e.g. resveratrol and quercetin) combat both cancer and cardio- vascular disease – the two biggest killers of our times

4  Reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer. It works by controlling the free radicals found in many processed foods that are so common in today’s fast-food diet, and these free radicals are chiefly responsible for the numerous cancers affecting so many of the world’s population

9  Plastic container  Big plastic bottle  Whisk or a wooden spoon  Potato Masher  Strainer  Rubber band  Balloon

10 1. Rinse the grapes thoroughly and remove the stems 2. Mash the grapes sing the potato masher 3. Add water then stir the mixture using the wooden spoon

11 4. Mix 5. Transfer the mixture to the plastic bottle. Use the strainer to separate the pulps 6. Add a bit of juice (optional) 7. Add the yeast to the mixture

12 8. Place the balloon on the mouth of the bottle. Wrap the bottom part of the balloon with rubber band 9. Place the bottle with the mixture to ferment
