3. On February 12,1809,Abraham Lincoln was born. He was born in Hardin County Kentucky. He was the second baby born in his family. Abraham Lincoln’s father’s name was Thomas Lincoln. In 1818 there was a terrible disease called milk poisoning. Lincoln’s mother died from the disease so did Thomas. That was when Lincoln was 9 years old. After that he had a hard life. Lincoln ran for state legislature in 1834. He ran as a wig. The wigs were a political party that wanted more roads and waterways. Lincoln was successful.

4. In 1859 Lincoln wrote a brief history of his life in a newspaper article.

5. In 1861 Lincoln became president of the United States. He was Inaugurated 16 president.

6. Abraham Lincoln ended the Civil war in 1865. In 1865 Lincoln was shot in Fords theatre. In 1865 Abraham Lincoln died In Washington D.C. He was buried In Springfield Illinois. John Wilkes Booth killed Abraham Lincoln. He should be ashamed of himself.
