2. 2 The Start Senate of the University of Ioannina commits to the 40 Principles laid out in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers in April 2010. 6. 6 Our goals (and challenges!) Assist effectively and efficiently all Researchers wishing to enter the Region or work abroad. Publish an increasing number of Research Positions offered in the Region of Epirus and the Region of the Ionian Islands in EURAXESS Jobs. Increase awareness of the University of Ioannina’s EURAXESS Service Mobility Center in the Regions of Epirus and the Ionian Islands. Inform the Ionian University, the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Epirus and the TEI of the Ionian Islands of the Charter & Code and encourage them to adopt them. 7. 7 More challenges… Organise the 1 st Researchers’ Night in Ioannina in September 2011. Achieve the HR Logo of Excellence for the University of Ioannina by the end of 2011. (Undertake in the near future an Internal Gap Analysis regarding the 40 Principles of the Charter and Code). Participate actively in the 2 nd Cohort of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers with an aim to achieving the HR Logo of Excellence. Involve as many Researchers as possible in the Internal Gap Analysis which will be undertaken at the University of Ioannina with respect to the adoption of the 40 principles sited in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
