12 As per experts The number of people affected by these floods in Pakistan are more than that of last three biggest crisis combined, this includes 2004 Tsunami in Indonesia 2005 Earthquake in Pakistan 2010 Earthquake in Haiti

13 SAUDI RESPONSE TO FLOODS

14 Soon after the heavy rains, Appealed to Saudi Nation to donate for their Pakistani Brethren. Ordered to establish an Air Bridge between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Ordered to establish an organization “King Abdullah’s Relief Campaign for Pakistani People” The Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Saudi Response

15 Saudi nation responded from depth of their hearts to help their Pakistani brothers and sisters. Donations

16 The King, began the campaign with self donation of SR 20 million. HRH Deputy Premier Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud donated SR 10 million. HRH Second Deputy Premier Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud donated SR 5 million. More than SR 402 million were collected during this campaign. Donations

17 Saudi Arabia have sent 30 Planes carrying relief goods, 2 among them are sent by Saudi Public carrying dates and milk. Air Bridge

18 Soon after its establishment, King Abdullah’s Relief Campaign for Pakistani people prepared a strategy to distribute “1,000 trucks for 2 million people”. Relief convoys to most affected areas of Pakistan are being sent as per above mentioned strategy. During this campaign more than 1,000 trucks of relief goods were sent in 6 relief convoys for forward distribution among flood affectees. Relief Convoys

29 Camp houses 500 families. Food, medical and other facilities are provided in camp.

30 On the eve of Eid-ul-Adha, KARCPP distributed meat among 3640 affected families The distribution was made in flood-torn provinces of Pakistan including Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

33 A 23 member volunteers team also arrived to assist in relief activities.
