We bow before you and confess the sin of our human condition.
All: God, we sin against you in what we think, say, and do. Forgive us.
We have not loved you with our whole heart, soul, and mind and we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves. Forgive us.

PRAYER
We give you praise for the gift of Jesus Christ, whose actions on our behalf save us from sin and death.
We glorify you for forgiving our sin and giving us eternal life. We are in awe of the mystery of your love and mercy that recreates all of life.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried.
