Witnessing Basics Witnessing Fun Facts Which of these basic witnessing facts are true? 1.I need a big sign and a street corner to witness my faith. 2.I need detailed training to witness my faith. 3.If I say something wrong, I can do more harm than good. 4.Witnessing doesn’t work.
Witnessing Basics What do I need to witness my faith? Acts 1:8 You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. What had the disciples witnessed? What have you witnessed?
Witnessing Basics What kind of training do I need? 1 Peter 3:15 Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. Are you prepared right now? Can you think of two Bible passages – right now – that you could use to witness?
Witnessing Basics What if I say something wrong? Romans 10:14-15 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” What if you stay silent?
Witnessing Basics Witnessing doesn’t work. Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Is the success or failure of your witness up to you?
Witnessing Basics Witnessing doesn’t work. Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Are you a nice person?
