2. The Pirineus are a set of saws placed in the north of the Iberian peninsula. It spreads from the Mediterranean Sea until the Cantàbric sea. Territorially, the north zone of Catalonia, the Aragó, Navarra and Euskadi and the south zone of the French País Basc and of the French Occitània occupies the west and south of the Catalunya Nord; and the whole of Andorra. The border between France and Spain also follows the Pirineus approximately; the País Basc and Catalonia, in the ends|extremes west and east, they find|are themselves between the mountain range. They have a length of some 425 km and a width that generally does not overcome the 100 km, with a total area of 19.000km²
