6 North America Did you know???
North America is the third largest continent in the world. Lake Superior in North America is the largest lake in the world. North America has the most food eaten per person in the world!

7 South America Did you know???
The Angel Falls in South America is the highest waterfall in the world. South America has the highest volcano in the world. Football is the main game that is played. Most people speak Spanish or Portuguese.

8 Africa Did you know??? Africa is the second largest continent.
The longest river in the world - The Nile - is in Africa. The Sahara Desert in Africa is the largest desert in the world. Two-thirds of all the world’s chocolate comes from Africa.

9 Europe Did you know??? There is only one continent smaller than Europe. It is the only continent without a desert. The Vatican City in Europe is the world’s smallest country. Just over one-tenth of the world’s population live in Europe.

10 Asia Did you know??? Asia is the largest continent. It covers a third of the earth’s land surface. Almost two-thirds of the world’s population live in Asia. The ten highest mountains in the world are in Asia. The lowest place in the world is in Asia.

11 Oceania (Australasia)
Did you know??? This is the smallest continent. Over 25,000 islands make up Oceania. There are more sheep than people in Oceania.

12 Antarctica Did you know???
This is the coldest, windiest and driest continent. There are no countries in Antarctica. Nobody lives there all the time The ice can be over 4 km thick.
