2 Screen 2 Number Keys on Top Row Keep your fingers curved as you reach to keys on the top row Keep at least one finger anchored on the home row Tap the 8 key with right middle finger Tap the 1 key with left little finger Click the mouse or tap the RIGHT ARROW key to continue.

3 Screen 3 Symbol Keys Keep your fingers curved as you reach to symbol keys Keep at least one finger anchored on the home row Key the - with the right little finger Key the “ with the right little finger and LEFT SHIFT Click the mouse or tap the RIGHT ARROW key to continue.

4 Screen 4 Spacing Tips Do not space between a figure and the / or the $ sign Do not space between a figure and the % or the – (hyphen) Do not space between # and a figure Space once before and after & used to join names Do not space between ( ) and the words they enclose Click the mouse or tap the RIGHT ARROW key to continue.

5 Screen 5 Numeric Keypad Located at the right of the keyboard Use for Calculator and other programs You may need to press the NUM LOCK key to use the keypad. NUM LOCK key Click the mouse or tap the RIGHT ARROW key to continue.
