2. Introduction Research report on the business and financial performance of Meezan bank. This topic is selected as it is in line with my academic knowledge. This organization is selected because of my interest in Islamic finance. The report answered how well Meezan had performed in the past three years.

11. Evaluation Profit grew by 63% since 2010, recording a profit of 5.9 billion in 2012. Assets are being utilized more efficiently than Meezan bank. ADR decreased to 51% while IDR increased to 49%. EPS grew to 1.53 while P/E decreased to 8.1 Profit grew by 118% since 2010, recording 3.5 billion in 2012 Shareholder funds being used more efficiently than Standard Chartered. ADR decreased to 38% while IDR increased to 66%. EPS grew to 3.88 while P/E decreased to 7.7

12. Conclusion and recommendations Meezan bank is availing the opportunity of growing market to build the strength of branch network. Bank is refraining from private sector lending and shifting its assets from financings to investments hence altering gross investment portfolio risk. Revenue and earnings are growing year on year which are fueled mostly by GOP Sukuk.
