Mutually Exclusive Events  Events are Mutually Exclusive if they have difference attributes and cannot occur at the same time.  Flipping coin, either heads of tails……..Not both  New born baby, either male or female……..Not both

Picnic  A picnic basket of sandwiches contains 3 ham, 2 turkey, 1 chicken, and 4 egg salad sandwiches. What is the probability of reaching in and randomly choosing either a ham or an egg salad sandwich.
