4 GCSE Maths, English – Grade C or above Primary & Early Years require Science GCSE Grade C POSTGRADUATE TEACHER TRAINING

5 Hons Degree 2:2 or above – dependant on provider Secondary & Post Compulsory - 50% subject content ( ICT, MFL and Music) Primary & Early Years – any degree subject Basic ICT knowledge Classroom experience – min 10 days Competitive programmes often require more

6 Most popular route/choice Focus on developing teaching 1 year FT, 2 years PT or Flexible options Cost – To be confirmed for 2012 Bursaries available in certain subjects GTTR – 2 choices only POSTGRADUATE TEACHER TRAINING

7 Fees to be confirmed by TDA for 2012 £3,375 for 2011 Bursaries available in: -Physics, Chemistry, Maths = £9.000 -Combined Science, Biology, MFL = £6,000 POSTGRADUATE TEACHER TRAINING
