3 What is the P.E.R.T.? P.E.R.T. has taken the place of the previous Common Placement Test (CPT). Used by all 28 Florida colleges Determine whether or not a student is ready for college level courses P.E.R.T. began in October 2010

4 Chain of Lakes (COL) Unweighted GPA: 3.0 Pass ALL 3 sections of the P.E.R.T. Tier 1 - Pass all 3 sections of P.E.R.T & 3.0 GPA Tier 2 - Pass 2 of the 3 sections of P.E.R.T. & 3.0 GPA

Takes approximately 1 hour to complete Writing Takes approximately 30 minutes to complete Math Each section has 30 questions!

36 Advice from students… Even though you have multiple times to take the test, study really hard the first time so you can pass it and not have to worry about taking it again. -Let them know, not to take studying as a joke, they need to do it!
