6 P George and Lennie’s friendship is unique E this is shown in chapter 3 when Slim and George are talking, Slim says ‘I hardly never seen two guys travel together.’ E we listen to Slim because he’s well respected so if he says it’s unusual then it probably is. It’s very rare to have two migrant workers travelling together like George and Lennie.
