2. One of the jobs is primary bucket washing, market preparation (product packing/loading), and possible market sales on Saturdays. The other job is for a great weed-whacker and mower. Starting pay is $8/hour. You must have a driver’s license, be responsible, able to pay attention to detail, work smart and be a good communicator. The job is for afternoons and one day each weekend. Hours are flexible and may vary depending on weather and field conditions. You can learn about farming, marketing, and what it takes to be a successful team member. 3. Chess Aides Needed! Silver Knights Chess teaches chess in more than a hundred schools, and we’re looking for part-time aides to help teach elementary school students chess in and around Loudoun County. Aides are responsible for signing kids in and out of chess club, assisting the coaches during lessons, helping supervise games, and occasionally working with small groups of students. We provide comprehensive training. The job is fun and our employees are paid a very competitive hourly rate. We have openings beginning in early September 2012, but we will also be hiring throughout the school year and for the summer of 2013. We are searching for people with the following qualifications: Basic knowledge of chess and enthusiasm for the game Outgoing and energetic Works well with children - experience is a bonus, but not a requirement A USCF rating (and knowing what that means!) is also a bonus, but definitely not a requirement Please note these job requirements: Must be able to work immediately after-school Must have reliable transportation This is a great job for anyone who loves chess and working with children.
