4 LINEAMENTS X-ray inspection system has radically new functional characteristics of physical composition, atomic number and cargo weight, which makes operator’s work easier and increase inspection effectiveness at the same time. Customer of X-ray inspection system get the ability to build the distributed control and safety system, which has the ability to work under guidance of integrated center without distinction of distance of border inspection posts. Common database store the acquired data, which might be use in analytical work and for advanced training of the operators.
Software of the X-ray inspection system is developed on Alt-Linux base with open source code per feedback of Russian Customs Academy and Russian Federal Customs Agency. Operator’s work station is fully automated and has user-friendly interface. Open source system is known safe and has no bugs and undocumented features. Up-to-date web-technologies let the customer to gain the remote access to inspection system for efficient control and monitoring. 5 SOFTWARE
