2 COMPANY PROFILE  ERGOSE is a Société Anonyme, subsidiary of the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE)  The Company manages the railway infrastructure projects of OSE that are co-financed by the ERDF, Cohesion Fund and the TEN-T budget.  After 18 years of operation, ERGOSE can benefit from the following:  Solid company organization covering all project implementation aspects (program and project management, supervision, design, quality controls, supporting services etc)  Broad knowhow in major infrastructure projects  Experienced and specialized human resources  Quality Management System and H&S Management System  Certificate of ERGOSE’s Management Competence in acting as project Beneficiary for NSRF 2007-2013

IV X IMPLEMENTATION OF PATHE/P CORRIDOR Backbone of the Greek railway network Interconnects the big urban centres of the country and areas with significant growth in the primary and secondary sectors Links to the major freight centres, main ports and Trans-European corridors (ΙV and X) Part of the Core TEN-T network

5 INTEROPERABILITY OFFICE Formed in ERGOSE in February 2014 with participation of 8 engineers of different fields of expertise in order to meet the needs of all TSI’s Main Responsibilities (1/2)  Cooperation with OSE, RAS and the Ministry of Transport for the development of effective processes for the adoption of the European Legislation and the TSI’s in the management of railway projects  Follow up of the European Railway Interoperability Legislation and TSI’s and disseminate the information to the involved personnel of ERGOSE

6 Main Responsibilities (2/2)  Update of the tender documents for new projects, in compliance with the latest TSI’s requirements, in cooperation with the “Contracts and Procurement Department” of ERGOSE  Development of tender documents for the selection of NoBo for the EC verification of existing projects without NoBo services in their contractual obligations  Technical support to ERGOSE’s “Project Departments” in the field of interoperability, e.g. the procedure of EC verification of subsystems  Follow up of the NoBo’s involvement in current railway projects INTEROPERABILITY OFFICE

7 NOBOs CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN ERGOSE PROJECTS  Installation of ETCS Level 1 (onboard): Italcertifer S.p.A.  Installation of ETCS Level 1 (trackside): Eisenbahncert-Germany  Design of 4-track corridor north of Athens Central Station (incl. tunnel section): Italcertifer S.p.A.  Connection of Alexandroupolis Port New Container Terminal:Tinsa Ltd.  Construction of New Railway Line between Tithorea and Domokos (120 km): Italcertifer S.p.A.  Construction of New Railway Line for the Connection of Thriassio Pedio Complex with Piraeus Port Container Terminal at Neo Ikonio RINA and Tinsa Ltd.
