WPA Okasha Award for Developiong Countries The Okasha Award recognizes young psychiatrists or neuroscientists whose research has best served psychiatry and mental health in developing and other countries with a shortage of resources, and who contributed to better international collaboration in psychiatry. This Award has been made possible through an unrestricted grant from APEX Pharma in Egypt.

3. WPA Okasha Award for Developiong Countries The Executive Committee of the World Psychiatric Association acts as the jury for the Okasha Award. The award includes a diploma, a medal and a sum of USD 15,000 for each of the two winners.
