2 WPA Okasha Award for Developiong Countries The Okasha Award recognizes young psychiatrists or neuroscientists whose research has best served psychiatry and mental health in developing and other countries with a shortage of resources, and who contributed to better international collaboration in psychiatry. This Award has been made possible through an unrestricted grant from APEX Pharma in Egypt.

3 WPA Okasha Award for Developiong Countries The Executive Committee of the World Psychiatric Association acts as the jury for the Okasha Award. The award includes a diploma, a medal and a sum of USD 15,000 for each of the two winners.
