Albania Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, and Italy occupied Albania at the start of WWI. Austria – Hungary fought the Serbian troops Austria – Hungary (liberators) Albanians did not like the secret Treaty of London of 1915. Gave land to other countries but not them.
Austria - Hungary Archduke Franz Ferdinand was shot in Serbia. Germany were allies to Austria – Hungary. A- H wanted Serbia to stop black hand a terrorist group from bombing them. Austria – Hungary didn’t want Serbia to take them over.
Belgium Germany invaded August 3, 1914. Belgium was just trying to keep independence from Germany. Germany wanted Belgium because it was next to France so Germany would have an advantage on France. King Albert I was the leader of Belgium during WWI.
