18 COMKFOR’s Mission KFOR, in accordance with UNSCR 1244, is to: –Establish & maintain a secure environment, including Public Safety & Order. –Monitor, verify & when necessary enforce compliance with the conditions of the Military Technical Agreement (MTA) & the UCK Undertaking. –Provide assistance to the United Nation Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) including core civil functions until transferred.
