Early Accomplishments At 6 months Tiger imitated his fathers golf swing. At 2 years Tiger appeared on the Mike Douglas show, putting with Bob Hope. At 3 years old, Tiger shot a score of 48 for nine holes. When he was 5, he was featured in Golf Digest magazine. He won the Optimist International Junior Tournament six times, he was 8,9,12,13,14, and 15. Tiger was 16 when he played in his first professional tournament in 92, The Nissan Los Angeles Open. He played three more PGA Tour events in 93’.

Schooling Tiger entered Stanford University in 1994 and in two years he won 10 Collegiate events, including the NCAA Title three different times.

Conclusion Tiger Woods has chartered new territory when it comes to African American golfers. He has distinguished himself from all Professional athletes n the PGA tour and has won more awards. Tiger is an exceptional role-model and could be considered an entrepreneur when it comes to blacks in the golf world.
