10DEARNESS ALLOWANCE1.Dearness allowance is granted to compensate price increase above points in CPI(Base year 2001=100)2.Sanctioned twice in a year to take effect from and3.DA is based on Basic pay +Grade pay +NPA.4.For transport allowance DA is admissible5.Fractions of 50 paisa and above to be rounded off and less than 50 paisa to be ignored.

20TRANSPORT ALLOWANCEHandicapped employees eligible for conveyance allowance will draw TPA at double the rate of prescribed TPA subject to a minimum of Rs.1000/- + DA thereon.
