4 John lived in Cleveland He retired in 1964, shortly after the Erie-Lackawanna merger. He retired in 1964, shortly after the Erie-Lackawanna merger. He had a bell from an Erie Berkshire mounted on a concrete pedestal in the backyard of his Pompano Beach, FL retirement home.
