3 JSGC – April 8, 2012 Chouvishi Pratishtha Committee (CPC) Near the end of February, the JSGC Board of Trustees formed the Chouvishi Pratishtha Committee (CPC) to plan and conduct the upcoming chouvishi pratishtha in our Bhamati in July 2012. 11 JSGC – April 8, 2012 A few points of information Bolis for pratishtha of only six tirthankars - Rishabhdev, Shantinath, Neminath, Parshwanath, Mahavir Swami and Simandhar Swami. The cost of the Ads has been kept at half of the level at the 2010 pratishtha. $500/full page, $250/half page. 14 -Pratishtha Mahotsav program Pre-Pratishtha Mahotsav program A Shatrunjay poojan program will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 A Shatrunjay poojan program will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 –Led by Nayanbhai Sanghvi from Tapovan, India. –There are 10 poojans, of which one is 27 abhisheks. We will have 12 nakras, one each for nine poojans and one for nine abhisheks each. There will be bolis for Aartis, Mangal Divo and Shanti kalash. –Along with the Shatrunjay poojan we will conduct bolis for Sanghpati, and pratishtha of six Tirthankars mentioned earlier. –More details will be forthcoming in about 10 days.

The most suitable options at this stage are: CPC and BoT looked at the various funding options available. The most suitable options at this stage are: –Seek interest free loans from the community –Borrow from Dev Dravya and payback with interest –See if sufficient funds can be set aside from sadharan funds to manage the cash flow of pratishtha expenses without impacting the day to day operation of the Jain Center. Examined the third option in some detail – as it would be the simplest.

In addition, we would set aside $25K from Dev Dravya to pay for Dev Dravya expenses. If additional monies are needed, they would be borrowed from Dev Dravya to be paid back with interest. Based on the above, CPC and BoT recommend that we set aside $100K from the sadharan account to manage the expenses/cash flow for the Chouvishi Pratishtha. In addition, we would set aside $25K from Dev Dravya to pay for Dev Dravya expenses. If additional monies are needed, they would be borrowed from Dev Dravya to be paid back with interest.
