14. SID What is SID? An application on the ICON network. It allows a state to know which states have wages for a particular SSN. A state can participate only if it sends in a quarterly Distributive Data Base Index (DDBI) file. How often is it updated? Quarterly.

18. SID Why don’t SID and IBIQ match? SID queries the UI DDBI, which is updated quarterly. IBIQ goes against states’ current wage/claim information, which is updated nightly. What can states do to make better use of SID? It is possible to integrate SID into initial claims process!
