ANY STUDENT THAT HAS A MISSING ASSIGNMENT WILL BE ASSIGNED TO THE OPPORTUNITY ROOM OR TO ANOTHER ON- CAMPUS CONSEQUENCE TO COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENT. THEY MUST STILL TURN IN THE ASSIGNMENT. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BE GIVEN CONSEQUENCE UNTIL THE ASSIGNMENT IS TURNED IN.

2 My goal for this year- O My goal this year is for every student to experience success and to show progress. I want each student to be confident in his/her abilities and develop into a disciplined and self-reliant learner. We build these skills in order for students to make a smooth transition into the rigorous high school routine.

8 Advanced Language Arts O -Students will study grade level curriculum created specifically for ALA students focusing on an advanced method of teaching and student critical thinking O -The required reading for ALA students is “Animal Farm” by Orwell and “Fahrenheit 451” by Bradbury. We will also read at least two other novels as a class that will focus in on higher level thinking skills.

10 iClass Structure: How will iClass work this year? O Students are grouped by 1st period in 8th grade- rotating every 4.5 weeks to their next period. Reaching all content area classes each semester. O ● Progress toward goals will be assessed by teachers and recorded by students weekly. Grades for iClass will officially be reported twice per quarter. Grades will reflect student’s progress toward the learning goal. O ● No homework is given for iClass

13 What does this fundraiser support? Instructional supplies, athletics, courage retreats, Minitown, and many other programs. What does Pueblo earn? Pueblo receives 40% of every book sold. If we reach 500 books we receive 45%. Our Goal? If every student sold at least one book Pueblo would receive over $11,000!
