Provide assurance to the Health & Wellbeing Board, Gateshead Council’s Cabinet and Gateshead CCG Governing body that the Better Care Fund plan is being implemented in accordance with the submission for Gateshead. Provide similar assurance to NHS England’s Area Team. Maintain an overview of the BCF schemes as a collective, including their interdependencies and address any issues referred to it by the Better Care Strategy Group and Better Care Commissioning Group. Provide an escalation point to address governance issues and provide dispute resolution linked to the BCF, including pooled budget arrangements.
