© 2012 Jenzabar, Inc. Bursting Reports You can burst a report to distribute its contents via email to a selected group of recipients. The recipients will only get the data that is pertinent to them. To create a burst report, you 1.Launch Report Studio and create a new list report 2.Create a Query and/or queries Defines the recipients and the data they will receive when the report is run. 3.Add Page contents – table, list, text items, data items Important: assign a query to the page 4.Insert a Page Set with same query as above and define grouping and sorting. 5.Set Burst Options to make file available for bursting Steps 4-5 will create the appropriate subsets of data to burst. 6.Avoid embarrassing situations - Simulate the Burst. 7.Enable Bursting Do this when the report is ready to be distributed.
