ICT literacies “using digital technology, communications tools, and/or networks to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create information in order to function in a knowledge society” (Digital transformation 2002: 4).
ICT literacies to define information (i.e. understand and articulate the scope of an information problem in order to facilitate the electronic search for information) to communicate information (disseminate information tailored to a particular audience in an effective digital format)
ESP/EAP course books analysis “Despite the fact that textbook publishers expend significant effort to include computer-based ancillaries with many of their products, many teachers still rely primarily on the textbook alone” (Bush, 2008: 443).
The criteria Recent date of publication – year 2005 and later ESP or EAP focus Level of the target audience’s English language proficiency pre-intermediate and above.

“No-Internet” course books those that do not include Internet-based tasks, but they do include activities where the Internet could be used those that do not have such tasks and cannot have them within the methodological approach adopted by the authors
