Potter Nicolette Kelly Mrs.Wilson January 8, 2013
First a potter’s clay was dug up by hand. Then rocks and debris were removed to create a smooth product. The clay would, then, be kneaded. Watery clay could be added to the clay to keep it moist and workable. Next, the potter would bake the newly formed pot in the kiln. Finally, the potter would decorate the pot.
