8. 2. I am Clay  We are not like clay but “we are the clay” (Isa. 64:8)  Gen. 2:7 God made man from the dust of the ground  Man has 99% same minerals and compounds of clay

9. 2. I am Clay  Isaiah 64:8  I am the work of God’s hands  I need to be shaped  I have purpose  I am meant to be a vessel of service

10. 3. I am Marred “The vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter” (Jer. 18:4)

11. 3. I am Marred  Isa. 52:14 Jesus visage was marred  Jer. 13:7 The marred garment was unprofitable  Rom. 3:23 All are marred by sin

12. 4. I can be remade! “so He made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make” God didn’t throw the clay out!
