National Novel Writing Month Happens in November!...
What is NaNoWriMo? NaNoWriMo is a dedicated month where aspiring writers all across the nation and throughout the world dedicate their time and efforts to writing an original novel. Their lofty goal: 50,000 words in 30 days.
Who participates? Anyone! From English majors to teachers to auto mechanics to plumbers, anyone who wants to write can and is encouraged to participate! Participation is not limited to just America. In 2013, 6 continents were represented in NaNoWriMo.
Is this a legit thing? Absolutely, 100% YES! Many novels written during and for NaNoWriMo have been published and are well known!
