4 Hochschule Bremen University of Applied Sciences (BUAS), Germany 9 May 2015SIIB review 4  Started in 2005 by SIIB  One-month summer school in June-July at BUAS  About 20 students of SIU.  Structured academic activity.  Broad Outline of the program: lectures & visits:  European Economy  Cases in International Marketing Management  Global Management – Concepts & Controversies  Intercultural Communication  Air & sea transport  Benchmarking in Logistics

5 BUAS Expenses  Course fee EURO 1550 (approx.) per student [tuition fees & accommodation] +  Optional :  EURO 250 per student towards weekend trip to Paris  Weekend trips to Amsterdam and Paris per student: EURO 350 (approx.)  Air travel, visa, food and other sundry & personal expenses Extra.  Required assistance for visa and air tickets will be provided by the Institute. 5

6 BUAS - Selection process  Submission of CV & SOP – January / February  Selection process – Interview  Selected students will attend the summer school in July for a month  Thirteen students from the batch would join the summer school at BUAS 6

12 Sheffield Hallam University [SHU], UK 9 May 2015SIIB review 12  Started a semester exchange program in year  Selected students spend one full semester in a Master’s degree program at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.  Gives international exposure to the students and equips them to face the world as future global managers.

13 SHU - Expenses  Total fees at SIIB for 2 years  No fees at SHU,UK  Living cost in UK – GBP 400 per month for 6 months – GBP 2400 (appx.) = Rs. 2,00,000/-  Additional – to & fro airfare, visa and other personal expenses 13

17 Semester Exchange program with Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany 17

18 Semester Exchange program with Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany  In the year 2014, SIIB started a semester exchange program with Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany.  Under this program, the selected students spend one full semester in Flensburg University, Germany. The study involves a mixture of knowledge-based learning through classroom sessions and skills-based learning through projects and group assignments. 18

Student will be back in SIIB by July for attending Semester 3 and 4. 19

23 Berlin school of Economics and Law (BSEL), Germany 9 May 2015SIIB review 23  Started a dual degree program in 2011  Selected students study their 1 st year at BSEL, Germany and the 2 nd year at SIIB, India & get two prestigious Masters’ degree in two years - MBA – International Business from SIIB, India and MA – International Business & Consulting [International Strategic Management] from BSEL, Germany.  Sponsored under DAAD ("Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst", also known as German Academic Exchange Service)

24 BSEL - Expenses  Total fees at SIIB for 2 years  No fees at BSEL, Germany  Living cost in Germany – EURO 600 per month for 10 months – EURO 6000[appx.] = Rs. 5,00,000/-  Additional – to & fro airfare, visa and other personal expenses 24

29 Reutlingen University, Germany  Started in 2013 under Erasmus Mundus Student mobility program  Selected students study their 1 st year at SIIB and the 2 nd year at Reutlingen University, Germany & get two prestigious Masters’ degree in two years - MBA – International Business from SIIB, India and ESB MBA from Reutlingen University, Germany.  Selected student will be at Reutlingen University from 15th Sept to 30th August for the second year of the program 29

30 Reutlingen - Expenses  Sponsored under IBIES scholarship.  Scholarship amount is 1000 Euro per month. (Total 10,000 Euros) PLUS Free health insurance, Two Tickets, Free Visa.  Students will pay approx.  Hostel charges = 200 Euros per month  Living cost (Food + local travel) = 350 Euros per month  Tuition Fees from the savings = 450 Euros per month  Total Expenses = 1000 Euros per month 30
