If you forget your User ID or Password, you can click on the Forgot your user ID or password? link. You will be prompted to enter either your user ID or email address. Note: If your company is using Single Sign-On (SSO), you will need to access your internal website and click on the Login button. To begin using CAT Enterprise, follow the steps to log in:

From the homepage, click on Group Management under Supervise in the menu to view your Assigned Groups. 2. Click on a group in the Assigned Groups tree or in the main screen.

All rights reserved. 3 Assigned Groups Tree Group Navigation Tabs Main Screen Once a group is selected, the main screen displays information dependent on what is selected in the Assigned Groups tree: Assigned Groups Tree Displays all the groups your supervise. Click the + symbol to show the Participant, Management, and Position nodes. Group Navigation Tabs Allows you to manage your assigned groups. Main Screen Displays information according to what item is selected in the Assigned Groups tree.

4 © 2011 PetroSkills, LLC. All rights reserved. 4 1. Click the + symbol to expand the different parts of a group in the Assigned Groups tree. 2. Navigate between different parts of the tree by clicking on items under the Participant, Management, and Position nodes. Use the Assigned Groups tree to navigate between Participants, Management, and Positions that belong to your groups: Participant People assigned to the Group. Management People you are assigned to manage. Position The Positions assigned to the people in the selected group. Each group contains three nodes: Participant, Management, and Position. When an item is selected in the tree, the main screen shows details information about that item. Expanded Group

All rights reserved. 5 When a Group is selected in the tree, use the Group Navigation tabs in the main screen to manage the group: Group Competency Inventory Header Icons Profile: Displays information about the Position Status and group members. Edit Group Membership: Allows you to assign and unassign people from the selected group. Group Competency Inventory: Allows you to manage Maps for the selected group. (A Position must be selected from the Assigned Groups tree). Group Gap Analysis: Displays the Gap Analysis for the selected group, which allows you to identify skill gaps. Group Activity Profile tab: Displays the Activity Profile chart for the selected group, which allows you to identify Development Activities for the selected group. Legend: Mouse-over the Legend icon to display percentage/color guidelines as well as icon definitions. Expand/Collapse All: Expands or collapses all of the displayed Competency Maps. Group Level High Importance: Allows you to set Skills as High Importance for a group. Show Only High Importance Skill Descriptions: Displays only the High Importance Skill Descriptions in the Maps.

6 © 2011 PetroSkills, LLC. All rights reserved. 6 To Set Skill Group Importance: 1. Click on a Position in the Assigned Groups tree. 2. Click on the Group Competency Inventory Tab in the main screen. 3. Click on the + symbols to reveal the Skill Group then Skill Descriptions. 4. Click on the Skill Descriptions you want to set as High Importance. An icon will appear on the selected Skill Descriptions. To remove the setting, click on the Skill Description again. These changes are saved automatically.

8 © 2011 PetroSkills, LLC. All rights reserved. 8 To review a group’s skill gaps: 1. With a Position selected in the Assigned Groups tree, click on the Group Gap Analysis tab in the main screen. 2. Review the group for skill gaps visually represented by colored boxes: All (green), Some (yellow), Few (red). 3. Right-click on a Skill Description box, and select View Details to view a popup window indicating assessment details for all the users in the group.

With a Position selected in the Assigned Groups tree, click on the Group Activity Profile Tab in the main screen. 2. Review the chart which displays the group’s assessments on the right and the Development Activities most beneficial to the group on the left.

10 © 2011 PetroSkills, LLC. All rights reserved. 10 When you select a person from the Assigned groups tree you see a number of tabs: Home Displays the person’s dashboard. Details Allows your to view/edit person details and access Position and Growth Position. Competency Inventory Access to the person’s Competency Inventory where you can cross-assess Skill Descriptions. Gap Analysis Displays this person’s Gap Analysis. Activity Profile Displays this person’s Activity Profile. Development Plan View/edit this person’s Development Plan. Role Summary Displays a summary of the role(s) this person has in the system.

11 © 2011 PetroSkills, LLC. All rights reserved. 11 1. In Group Management, expand the Participant node in a group from your Assigned Groups tree. 2. Click on a Participant’s name. 3. Click the Competency Inventory tab. To assess a person’s Position: 2 2 3 3 The person’s Position appears as a list of relevant Competency Maps that you will assess. 4. Click on the + symbol beside the Map name to reveal the Skill Group names, and then click on the + symbol beside the Skill Group name to reveal the Skill Descriptions. 5. Read the Skill Description. (The lower left corner should already be assessed by the Participant. 1 1

12 © 2011 PetroSkills, LLC. All rights reserved. 12 Note: You may have the option to Concur with Self-Assessment of the Individual, then you can reassess the competencies you disagree with. Access this option by right-clicking on a Skill Group name., 6. Right-click on the Skill description box and choose a proficiency level from the popup menu. The upper right-hand corner of the box changes color. Legend Mouseover the Legend icon to display the color and percentage guidelines, as well as icon definitions. Notes Click on the Skill Description and then click on the Notes tab in the dialog box. You can read any Participant’s notes, edit & delete the notes, and you can add your own notes. Skill Descriptions with the paperclip icon have notes attached to them. During your cross-assessment, you can use the Legend or Notes features:

All rights reserved. 13 After you have complete a person’s cross-assessments, use the Gap Analysis and Activity Profile to identify skill gaps: Gap Analysis The Gap Analysis works in the same way as it does for Groups, except the information displayed is for the selected person only. Activity Profile The Activity Profile works in the same way as it does for Groups, except the information displays is for the selected person only, and you can add the most relevant Development Activities. Note: Click on the DP icon in the Gap Analysis or the Activity Profile to add a Development Activity to the person’s Development Plan.

All rights reserved. 14 Use the Development Plan to manage Development Activities: To view a person Development Plan, select a person from the Assigned Groups tree and click on the Development Plan tab in the main screen. 2. Set Priority Activities can have a priority set to High, Medium, or Low. Right-click on the Development Activity name and select Set Priority. 1. Add a Development Activity Add a Development Activity from this page by clicking on the Add Activity button. Add Activity Button Right-click on an Activity name to view options. Development Activity start and end dates must be set manually. Right-click on the Development Activity name and select Set Dates. 3. Set Dates Development Plan Tab
