Daily Practice 94 The intensity, I, of light emitted from a torch diminishes to I d units as you move d metres away from the torch, according to the formula : Solution (a): (a)Calculate the intensity of light if you are 10m away from a torch which initially emits 300 units. (b) At what distance from the torch will the intensity be 50 units? At beginning I 0 = 300, d = 10 and I d = ?? So intensity is around 67 units when 10m away from torch.
