1- a. The description of Norman french army The Norman french army were a cavalary. They had a small shield with a helmet, a sword, a spear, a coat of mail, an axe and a horse. The Normans were stronger than the Anglo-Saxons. They were intelligent, disciplined. Norman frightened their opponents because they were strongest soldiers. The Norman won the battle of hastings.
