Indirect object pronouns answer the question to whom? or for whom? the action is being done.

les (to or for them, you all)

8. Placement
Indirect Object Pronouns, me, te, le, nos, os, and les are placed either before a conjugated verb or attached to an infinitive.

9. Before the Conjugated Verb:
Mamá les da el dinero a Ana y José. (accompanies)
Mamá les da el dinero. (replaces)

10. Before the Conjugated Verb
Le voy a vender mi coche a Sara.
Le voy a vender mi coche.

11. Attached to the infinitive
¿Vas a darle el libro a Elena?
Sí, voy a darle el libro a Elena.
Voy a venderle mi coche.
