Group Examples: Complete the following problems together as a group. Everyone must write the problem down and complete all of the work required. After ample time has been given students will be picked to go to the board to work the problem out and explain. For each problem, find the total cost. 6.) In a department store, a $40 dress is marked, "Save 25%.“ 7.) In a grocery store, a $12 case of soda is labeled, "Get a 20% discount." What is the discount? What is the sale price of the case of soda? 8.) A pizzeria has a coupon that reads, "Get 1/3 off a $9.00 cheese pizza."
