9 Dear Valentina, Tomorrow is another big day in your life and other people's lives who are involved in the greatest English language project in Belarus: the ICAN Club! Congratulations! Recently I've surfed the ICAN site for some time (impossible to read all posts in one or two goes) and realized that the project is much bigger, broader, deeper than I had thought. Valentina, I know you put a lot of your time and energy into the club and the writing project and I wish you, as before, many more participants and supporters whose success will inspire and encourage you to come up with more ideas and projects. Long live to ICAN and best wishes to you, my dear friend! Alla Kalishevich South Africa, 2011

10 Dear ICAN Club, Thank you for being supportive and encouraging since we met. You're the right place for those who want to learn to be heard. "ICAN" is not just an abbreviation, it's a way of thinking and a way of life. I'm sending an "African" photo of me. Well, it's not African enough, as I see it. Where I live it's very civilized. To see real Africa, I need to go far north-east, and for this I haven't had time yet. It's hard to find it - the Zulu people land is really far from Cape Town. Tomorrow I'll go on a week-long car trip. This time I want to see elephants and zebras. Well, I've seen some already but you can't have enough of a good thing:) Happy Birthday, ICAN Club! Alla
