SAMRAKSHAN Private Security Agencies Database Software General Interface 1
Objectives The Government of India and Government of Karnataka has constituted the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005 and Karnataka Private Security Agencies Rules, 2008 to regulate the business of Private Security Agencies. This application will help the General user to view the details of the PSA Personnel by entering the code and also to register for applying a new PSA License. This application will help to apply for renewal of license, and maintain the records related to PSA’s manpower. This application will also help manage, provision, maintain the records related to PSA’s. 2

Security Training The training shall be for a minimum period of 100 Hours of classroom training. 60 Hours of Field Training. Spread over for at least 20 Days. For ex-servicemen and former Police personnel 40 Hours of class room training and 60 Hours of field training spread over for 7 Days. 55

PSA LOGIN –> Utilities –> Bulk Upload Use the downloaded default values while entering For the fields, Applicant Birth state / Applicant Present Address State / Applicant, Permanent State, Category, Blood group ( Example: If the applicant state is Karnataka then enter state field as 1) (Example: If the applicant is Guard then enter category field as 3) (Example: If the applicant Blood group is O+ then enter blood group field as 2) Date field should be in dd/mm/yyyy format. Save the file in CSV(Comma delimited ) format. 73 Start entering data from 5 th row as per the instructions
