You have sent in the paperwork for a school to be set up with SWIS…… What paperwork did you submit? To whom and where did you send the paperwork? What pages of the license agreement did you send in? Did you send the Readiness Checklist, copies of the school’s referral form and an example of their referral process? Who signed the license agreement? Do you know your Training Agreement Number? About how long does it take for a school to be set up? How are you notified when the school’s SWIS account is active? What do you do now ? What if you forgot the passwords?
Invoicing…. The school needs a new copy of their invoice, where could you get that? There’s a new administrator at the school who should have received the invoice, where do you go to make this change and get them the new invoice? When are accounts renewed? Do you know how that process happens? Do we need new paperwork for this renewal? How do we know where to send the invoice?
Your school calls and says they want to enter all the students and staff into SWIS. Better yet, they want to download this data into SWIS from their district database What do you tell them?
What potential problems do you anticipate and what can you do to prevent them from occurring? What steps will you take so that this transition happens smoothly for the school? Do you have a transition plan? IF…… You are taking over some schools from another SWIS™ Facilitator who has retired or moved to a different position OR You are leaving your position as SWIS Facilitator OR You are going to be on vacation, maternity leave, or not working for a significant amount of time
My schools have used all three extra information fields in the past, but not as consistently as I would have hoped. There are multiple labels listed in the setup; many of these labels should not be listed in the same category. I’d like to show them how to use these categories in a way that’s useful and effective for decision-making. Is there a way to get a clean slate and start fresh for the three Extra Info sections? How should my school use the 3 Extra Information Categories?
