7 Disobedient Children…  Undiscerning: Without spiritual understanding (foolish), Colossians 1:9-10; Philippians 1:9-10  All things are defiled, Titus 1:15  Rejects revelation, 1 Corinthians 2:14  Disobedience erodes wisdom, Proverbs 4:1-9 7

8 Disobedient Children…  Untrustworthy: C OVENANT B REAKERS (faithless) –Does not keep agreements, Psalm 15:4; Eccl. 5:2-5  Makes promises he does not keep  Lacking integrity: Exaggerated honesty – Places little value on honesty and keeping his word, James 5:12 (Eph. 4:25) 8

9 Disobedient Children…  Unloving: Without natural affection (heartless), 2 Timothy 3:3  “Hard-hearted toward kindred”  Without the ability to cherish affectionately  cf. Unwillingness and failure to care for elderly parents, 1 Timothy 5:8 9

13 Full of All Unrighteousness  We must not fail to honor God and be thankful to Him, Romans 1:21  Once we start down that path we plunge deeper and deeper into all kinds of sins and remain under His wrath, Romans 1:18 13
