Teacher’s Page How to use this PowerPoint presentation: Initially to be adult led to show child how to progress through each page and to read to child. Adult to allow the child to work out ‘how many’ by counting. Child can count either in head, by touching screen, saying numbers out loud. When children know how to use programme they can use independently or in chosen groups. Assessment: Note ease/difficulties children have navigating though presentation. Note children’s counting skills, eg: how do they count, do they use their fingers to touch each object as they count, do they touch an object and not count it, do they count faster than they can touch objects thereby reaching a higher number, is their counting accurate.
