8 www.ticbradford.com Quotes from MLLs The project has had outstanding impact in my Year 5 class with the biggest impact being on engagement. From the outset the children were engaged, animated and on task in every lesson! They were very engaged and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. Writing, which for some was a challenge, was made easier through the enthusiastic responses by the children Engagement at home has improved, as many of the films used could be accessed through YouTube, the children were watching the clips at home and began bringing in a range of work created at home. One child recently told a film maker that she sees there is a purpose to her writing now and children have become more confident at speaking in front of an audience as we often ask them to present their films.
