Meditation Matthew 5:2, 5, 7-8, 11-12 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up a mountain. He sat down and his disciples came to him. He taught them saying “…Happy are people who are humble, because they will inherit the earth… Happy are people who show mercy, because they will receive mercy.
Meditation (cont) Matthew 5:2, 5, 7-8, 11-12 Happy are people who have pure hearts, because they will see God… Happy are you when people insult you and harass you and speak all kinds of bad and false things about you, all because of me. Be full of joy and be glad, because you have a great reward in heaven…”
Call to Worship One:We have come to remember those who have gone before us, the saints who are a great cloud of witnesses inspiring us to worship and serve Our Creator, God. We have come to worship the LORD of Love. Many: Praise the LORD! Let us lift up the name of the LORD!
For All the Saints Hymnal # 711 Used By Permission. CCLI License # 11148194
For all the saints, who from their labors rest, who thee by faith before the world confessed, thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest. Alleluia, Alleluia!
Thou wast their rock, their fortress, and their might; thou, Lord, their captain in the well-fought fight; thou, in the darkness drear, their one true light. Alleluia, Alleluia!
O may thy soldiers, faithful, true, and bold, fight as the saints who nobly fought of old, and win with them the victor’s crown of gold. Alleluia, Alleluia!
O blest communion, fellowship divine! We feebly struggle, they in glory shine; yet all are one in thee, for all are thine. Alleluia, Alleluia!
And when the strife is fierce the warfare long, steals on the ear the distant triumph song, and hearts are brave again, and arms are strong. Alleluia, Alleluia!
From earth’s wide bounds, from ocean’s farthest coast, through gates of pearl streams in the countless host, singing to Father, Son, and Holy Ghost: Alleluia, Alleluia!

Hymnal #895 Used By Permission. CCLI License # 11148194
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Gloria Patria Hymnal #70 Used By Permission. CCLI License # 11148194
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
1 John 3:1-3 NRSV See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
