What difficulty did the narrator find because of his strange memory ? ** He was a businessman, so he lost business because some people become annoyed when he couldn ’ t remember their names. 2. How could the narrator remember the face of any person ? ** He connected the face with a place where he had seen it. 3. What did his wife complain about ? ** She complained that her husband didn ’ t know the names of their neighbours 4. What did she think he ought to be ? ** She thought he ought to be a reporter for newspapers. 5. How did the writer over come trouble with names ? ** he used a little skill and he didn ’ t let a man see he couldn ’ t remember his name. 6. Why didn ’ t the writer agree with his wife when she told him that he ought to be a reporter ? ** Because he felt that he would be able to see the famous man or woman and remember their faces but he couldn ’ t Remember their names. 7.
