The vineyard follows the maximum slope and the density is 4500 vines/hectare, Guyot-trained. Vinification: 15 days of maceration at controlled temperature on horizontal tanks, with daily remontage (pump over) and full contact between the skins and the fermenting must. Once the alcoholic fermentation is over, the wine is kept at optimal condition in order to allow a fast start for the malolactic fermentation. This helps to preserve the freshness of the aromas and the structure of the wine. The wine is unoaked. Taste: Intense ruby red in color, it boast explosive flavors of ripe black fruit, mushroom and forest floor. On the palate it is full bodied and long lasting, also thanks to its good and balanced acidity, an essential characteristic to the Barbera.
